Aim:

Personality development of students through community service.

The main objectives of National Service Scheme (NSS) are :

  1. Understand the community in which they work
  2. Understand themselves in relation to their community
  3. Identify the needs and problems of the community and involve them in problem-solving
  4. develop among themselves a sense of social and civic responsibility
  5. utilise their knowledge in finding practical solutions to individual and community problems
  6. develop competence required for group-living and sharing of responsibilities
  7. gain skills in mobilising community participation
  8. acquire leadership qualities and democratic attitudes
  9. develop capacity to meet emergencies and natural disasters and
  10. practise national integration and social harmony

Activities conducted during the Academic Year 2016-17


Planning.session.(27thJune2016)

The P.O. attended planning session organized by N.S.S. cell, Mumbai University, Mumbai on 27th JUNE 2016. As per the plan and calendar of N.S.S. cell, Mumbai University. We framed activities and programs of Our N.S.S unit for the year 2016-17.

Tree.Plantation(1stJuly2016)

The NSS Unit of our college planted 30 trees on 1st July 2016 on Bangladesh Ground nearcollege Bhayander  west with the help of 35 Volunteers and Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff. Planted trees including Neems, Nilgiri and Different kinds of crops.




Traffic.Control.in.Bhaynder.Area(9thSept,2016)

ON 09-09-2016 N.S.S Unit at Bhayander west area ornganised control management under Senior Police inspector Mr.Mahadik.There were 42 N.S.S volunteers presented and participalted in this activity.

Guest.Lecture on Disaster Management(15th,July2016)

The NSS unit organized Guest Lecture on Disaster Management on 15th July,2016.This was conducted by Tulsi Khade Ma’am. More than 50 students were attended this seminar.




Medical.Camp.(28th August, 2016. 

NSS unit and Wockhardt Hospital, Mira road (east) jointly organized medical check-up camp on 28th August, 2016 in college campus. The specialists Dermatologist, Psychiatrist, ENT specialist and physician of Wockhardt Hospital examined and suggested medication to the students and others. The beneficiaries of the camp are as follows;

Swacha Bharat Abhiyan (10th Oct, 2016)

ON 10-10-2016 N.S.S Unit at Bhayander west area organized Swacha Bharat Abhiyan underPrime Minister Scheme. There were 34 N.S.S volunteers presented and participated in this activity. They cleaned nearest station area and college area.
